In my opinion, the Jade Level One Yoga Mat is the best inexpensive yoga mat on the market. At less than 60$, the Jade Level One has good padding for the joints, great grip when dry or wet, impressive durability, weighs a moderate four pounds, and is made from eco-friendly materials by a company that cares about their impact on people and the planet. Like all mats by Jade, the Level One Mat is made from sustainable resources with no PVC.
I see some complain about the price...I buy a lot of yoga pants, and you can go spend $30 on a pair or less, but you will be able to see that the quality is incomparable to BY's leggings. I had a pair from Old Navy, before I discovered these. Let's say I will never wear those again. Beyond Yoga is 1 of my favorite brands, and they are worth every penny. I always get a ton of compliments every time I wear them to my Barre classes, or the grocery store. You won't be disappointed!" (via Amazon.com)
This is Jade's most popular mat for good reason. It’s a mat that strikes a balance between many great qualities at a very reasonable price. It functions as a home or travel mat if you are willing to sacrifice some padding at home and commit to a little more weight on the road. It features good durability and padding, has excellent grip in wet and dry conditions, is made without PVC or other toxic chemicals and is produced by a company with a strong tradition of responsible industry practices. I know what it means to find the perfect yoga mat. The one that’s not too soft but not too firm, not too sticky but not too slippery, not too heavy but not going to fall apart after a couple practices either. I know how good it feels when you finally step onto The One, and I know just how elusive that perfect combination can be. That’s why, since founding DoYogaWithMe, I have been on a quest to find the world’s best yoga mats, test them, and report back to aid you on your personal quest.
On an inhale, raise your arms straight up above your head and bring your palms together. Bend your knees slightly, and on the exhale, hinge at your hips to fold forward, lengthening your spine the whole way down as you reach your hands for the floor. Bring either your fingertips or palms to the floor, fingers in line with your toes. Slowly straighten your legs as much as you can without straining them.
If you are looking for a supportive, grippy and non-toxic mat, this may be the one for you. The Jade Fusion Yoga Mat has a lot of fantastic qualities. Number one, it’s made mostly from natural rubber, with no PVC, making it eco-friendly and biodegradable - in fact, Jade was the first company in the industry to offer non-toxic mats! It’s thick, incredibly supportive for bones and joints and has amazing grip in both wet and dry conditions. With their ‘Plant a Tree for Every Mat Sold’ initiative, U.S.-base production, and support for programs that bring yoga to those who couldn’t otherwise have access, the company has a strong tradition of responsible industry practices. The way the capitalist economy works makes it very hard for most of us to get the basics we need to stay alive, including housing and healthcare. We are encouraged to become competitive money making bots, and we are denied the time to attend to the things that really matter, like caring for community members, mending the environment or enjoying being alive on this planet. This contradiction makes some of us anxious and/or depressed, and/or leads to addiction and untransformative social unrest.

Trending Now: Trends in yoga clothing and activewear change rapidly, and we are always excited to see what is coming next. This year brought us a ton of mesh paneled cut outs. We love this trend as it caters to yogis who prefer a solid color legging, but want an element of chicness. Printed yoga leggings have taken over recently, and we've seen lots of trends come out of this. Recently star print leggings have been popping up everywhere. We always love animal prints and this season was no exception with a large number of takes on the traditional leopard print.
