The Manduka Eko yoga mat is made from non-Amazonian, all-natural tree rubber reinforced with polyester and cotton and manufactured without toxic glues or foaming agents. No toxic chemicals were used to soften the rubber either, which is rarer than you might expect. These mats have two layers that are different densities, offering a combination of spongy and firm support, and have a closed-cell surface that repels moisture. The natural rubber has good grip in dry conditions and feels nice and supportive under your body.
At 5.5 pounds and 4.2 millimeters, the Liforme is relatively light and thin for a partly-rubber mat. I buy Victoria's Secret leggings/yoga pants that really fade over time, show crotch sweat when I do cardio, lift, or even just wear them on a hot day with flip flops. Just my opinion, but I think the people that say these are overpriced are maybe expecting thicker material?? These come very thin and makes you think, wow - these were $100?? Here's the deal - this is one of the reasons WHY they are $100. They allow you to breathe, you cannot see sweat, and this material is not going to fade in washes, allowing them to last longer, rather than purchasing more leggings that fade and look old quickly. Ultimately saving money! They are stylish on top of that. I do not see that they're see through, but maybe it's because I don't wear full coverage "underware." Let's be honest here, that's just not smart in skin tight leggings, period. Wear a thong, problem solved. Again - I think they're fine. Size: I am 5'8, 160lbs, athletic. I lift weights/daily cardio. I purchased a large and they fit like a glove. Waistband comes to my belly button, and whoever said they sit too low might want to go a size up. They are thin, and another review said the were worried about ripping putting them on. I think they're very durable (another reason they're worth it - thin & durable), but I can understand the comment.
Bring your shoulders, hips, and heels into a straight line (imagine that there is a straight line from your head to heels). Keep your shoulders over your wrists. Engage your abdominals. Press your palms into the ground to engage your triceps and biceps. Press your shoulder blades down the back, and lengthen your sternum forward to keep your chest open. On an inhale, raise your arms straight up above your head and bring your palms together. Bend your knees slightly, and on the exhale, hinge at your hips to fold forward, lengthening your spine the whole way down as you reach for the floor. Bring either your fingertips or palms to the floor, fingers in line with your toes. Slowly straighten your legs as much as you can without straining. Shift the weight toward your toes. Straighten your arms and lift your chest away from your thighs to make a flat back.

On an inhale, reach your front hand as far forward toward as you can, bringing the rib cage forward. On an exhale, hinge forward from the hip joint, reaching your right arm down and your left arm up, creating straight line up and down. Place your right fingertips either on top of your right ankle, on the floor, or on a block just outside the ankle. Extend the arms and open the chest.
Lift your right knee up to about hip height and use your right hand to grab your right ankle and place the sole of your foot against your left inner thigh. (If this is too difficult, place your foot below your knee, but never place it directly on your knee. It may be a bit of a late reply - I have a Manduka Eko and the Manduka towel. When I'm not that sweaty I find the mat itself is super grippy, but gets slippy when wet. But the towel is awesome, and gets stickier as I get sweatier! It's even been brilliant for the occasional hot yoga class - but mostly I just mean full on Fiji flow class sweaty :) Not the cheapest or lightest option, but really works for me. The towel can then also be easily washed, and, unlike some other towels I've tried, doesn't move or get twisted during practice.

Beyond Yoga Essential Long Legging: "These pants are by far my FAVORITE yoga pants. I think I own maybe 7-10 pairs of just the "Essential" legging, and many pairs of other styles/colors. The fabric is to die for. They don't feel like your typical yoga pant, and you'll never want to take them off. They aren't just for working out.
